Evocation was formed in 2002 dealing predominantly with the Secondary teacher market in the UK. In 2006 we acquired Blighty Education which was the main agency providing EFL teachers to the UK market. In 2007 we merged with Renaissance education a Quality Mark accredited teaching agency with particular strengths in SE London. Since 2008 we have placed a number of teachers Internationally working for International Schools and a host of the major oil producing countries and companies in Africa and the middle East.

We have offices in London, Thailand and a presence in France.

Tom Baxter and Ian Readings have been Directors of Evocation since 2002.

Ian comes from a Finance background with experience of managing International Schools overseas and established our Thailand office in 2005. Previously ran a dive school and as an Instructor clocked over 3000 dives and still harbours belief that his left foot will figure at the Emirates in a match winning capacity in the near future..

Tom comes from a recruitment (Search in Banking) and Management Consultancy (turnaround projects for the IMF in Russia and for P/E groups in the UK) and deals with Business Development for Evocation. A schoolboy interest in Philosophy still dictates his reading - and can at times be found strutting his stuff on a rugby pitch in French Catalonia.
